2.4.6 LoginFree
This function allows you to save a JPG picture of the live image
on the camera‘s web server. In this way, you can easily use the
camera‘s image for additional purposes, e.g. integrate it in a
homepage.
Enter a name for the image and confirm your choice by clicking
„Apply“.
The image can then be displayed via an internet browser. Enter
the file name of the image after the camera‘s IP address in
Internet Explorer‘s address bar.
Example: IP address:
192.168.2.3 Image name: test.jpg
Entry in address bar:
http://192.168.2.3/test.jpg
2.4.7 RTSP
Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) is a network protocol
used to control the continuous transmission (streaming) of
audio-visual data or software used on IP-based networks.
It is used to control the session between recipient and server.
RTSP port:
Enter the desired RTSP port here.
MPEG4 RTSP path:
Enter the desired RTSP path here.
H264 RTSP path:
Enter the desired RTSP path here.
RTSP port range:
Select the RTSP port range here.
2.5. Motion detection
2.5.1 General information
The motion detection function makes the wireless LAN camera
a simple surveillance device. A movement or change in the area
under surveillance is detected and, depending on the setting, the
system sends a video image of the change/movement by e-mail
or it is uploaded to an FTP server.
The first menu item enables you to turn motion detection on or
off. To do this, click
„On“
or
„Off“

Identification interval:
The monitoring interval defines an
interval in seconds between each
check for motion or change in the
camera’s field of vision.
Recording duration:
The recording duration determines
how long a registered movement is to
be
filmed.
You can select intervals of 1 to 5
seconds.
Image format:
Here you can decide if you want
to save/record a picture (JPG) or a film
(AVI) of the detected movement.
Upload to FTP server:
If the system detects motion, it records
a picture or video, which can be
uploaded to an FTP server (item 2.5.4).
Select

Send by e-mail:
If the system detects motion, it records
a picture or video which can be sent
by e-mail to a preset address
