Operation and sound settings
Switching the loudspeakers on
Use the on/off switch on the subwoofer to switch the
loudspeaker system on and off.
Volume
You can control the volume either directly on the
subwoofer or using the volume control on the cable
remote control.
Note that the two volume settings are not independent of
each other. In order to achieve the maximum volume, you
must thus turn both controllers fully on.
Sound settings
In addition to the volume control, the subwoofer also
features controls for high frequencies (treble), low
frequencies (bass) and volume balance (balance). Turn
the loudspeaker down to moderate volume and adjust the
treble and basses as desired. If you could not position the
satellites in the same distance to your head as described,
you can now balance the volume of the satellites via the
balance control.
Cable remote control
Turn the volume control clockwise to increase the volume
and anti-clockwise to lower the volume again.
When you attach headphones to your cable remote
control, the audio signal to the loudspeaker is
automatically interrupted and the signal is only played
back on your headphones. You can continue to use the
cable remote control to control the volume on your
headphones. The volume and sound settings on the
subwoofer do not affect the playback through your
headphones.
You can use the included audio cable to connect portable
audio devices with a 3.5 mm jack plug, such as mp3
players, to the additional audio input on the cable remote
control. As soon as you have connected a cable to this
audio input, this connection becomes the only sound
source.
