AV-06 Distribution Amplifier

General

The AV-06 Distribution Amplifier will connect up to 6 monitors or recording machines to
a single video source. It is VHS, VHS-C and Video 8 compatible and ideal for use with
presentation and video distribution systems. Pictures from a camcorder or video recor-
der, for example, can be shown at the same time on up to six monitors, each one loca-
ted in a different room. It is self-evident that the unit can also be used for multiple copy-
ing processes.

Application

The AV-06 is an optimal video/audio distributing unit which will transmit the video/audio
signals from one source to a maximum of 6 receivers without any loss of quality. It is an
ideal aid for training schemes, professional demonstrations and presentations involving
several monitors! Copying from one recorder to another 6 recorders at the same time is
also possible - for instance if you wish to duplicate a video holiday film for your friends.

How to connect
Mains connection

First insert the plug of the supplied mains adapter into the jack socket at the back of the
unit. Then plug the mains adapter into the wall outlet (230 V).

Audio/video connection

The video signal source (e.g. video recorder, video camera, SAT receiver, etc.) is
connected to the yellow tagged INPUT socket. Use the red and white socket for the au-
dio signals.
A maximum of 6 monitors, video recorders or televisions can be connected to the out-
put sockets 1-6.
Several AV-06 units can be connected into a cascade if further outputs are required.
Your local dealer will supply you with the correct Hama audio, video and other connec-
ting cables.
