receive unlimited notification of Alerts to email and Twitter accounts. If you upgrade to the
£4.99 monthly subscription service for either Security or Care service, you will receive

Twitter (subject to Fair Use policy as described in Terms & Conditions of Service).

Is there a limit to the number of Information / Trigger messages the Halo monitoring
service will deliver?
A: Information / Trigger messages are not delivered if you are only on a Free service level.
If you upgrade to the £4.99 monthly subscription service for either Security or Care service,
you will be able to receive Information / Trigger messages. One subscription entitles you to
receive 30 Information / Trigger messages delivered by SMS text message to a mobile phone
per month. It also entitles you to an unlimited number of Information / Trigger messages
delivered to email and Twitter accounts.

I’ve had an alert message telling me that my monthly allowance of SMS text messages
is Low / has Expired. What does this mean?
A:
Each £4.99 monthly subscription entitles you to receive 30 Information / Trigger
messages per month delivered by SMS text messages to a mobile phone. The countdown
ticker on your web account indicates the number of these SMS messages remaining for that
month. Warning messages are delivered to you by SMS text message to mobile, email and
Twitter when you only have 5 messages left, and again when your monthly allowance expires
and you have no SMS messages left. Once this happens, Information / Trigger messages will
then only be sent to email and Twitter accounts.
It is important to note that Alert messages (Burglar, Panic, Medical, and Fire alarms, test
alarms or any alarms generated from the Keypad trigger) are
NOT
counted in the 30 message
limit, so if you have used your quota for the month and the burglar alarm is triggered, you will
still be notified of the event.

How do I re-‐set my Information / Trigger alert messaging quota?
A:
Your monthly allowance of 30 Information / Trigger messages will automatically be re-‐
set on the 1
st
day of each month. If you find that you need more than 30 Information / Trigger
messages per month delivered by SMS text messages to a mobile phone, you can purchase an
additional messaging “Boost” pack
