DESCRIPTION
SMART3-R gas detectors allow monitoring flammable, toxic and refrigerant
gasses in machinery rooms, laboratories and non-classified areas.
The gas detector is compliant to the following standards:
EN 50676, EN 378-3, EN 14624, IEC 60335-2-40 Annex LL, ISO 5149-3.
The gas detector has an analogue 4-20 mA output, a serial RS485 output and 3
relays. It has a 12-24 Vdc power supply as standard, but as optional there’s a 230
Vac version. SMART3-R gas detector can be equipped directly with a sensing
element or with a remote head, thanks to a 6-conductors cable.
The plastic enclosure has two M20 cable glands and on the sides there are pre-
formed guides that can be drilled to add up to six M16 cable glands. The circular
plastic contour offers a visual indication of the detector’ status while an internal
buzzer activates to warn of any fault or alarm condition. The gas detector has a
continuous self-diagnosis. With the calibration keypad STS/CKD+ it’s possible to
calibrate and adjust the gas detector.
