1.4 Installing the bars
1. Insert the six sealing plugs into the
open ends of the four bars (Fig. 3/1).
2. Attach the two front bars (Fig. 3/2)
with the M12x120 screws and the six
washers to the chassis finger-tight
(Fig. 3/3).
3. Attach each of the two rear bars

(Fig. 3/4) to the chassis with two
M10x20 hex screws and the SKM 10
detent edge washers (tighten

finger-tight) (Fig. 3/5).
Caution

If the chassis of the B 260 R
was manufactured in the peri-
od from June to August 2021
(7182.xx 1 xxxx 3/4), two drill
holes for the rear spar on the
left in the direction of travel
must be re-drilled (see section
1.4.1)!
