1. Place the ladder with the crossbar on the ground and
raise it until it is vertical for easier handling.
Note: With the longer ladder lengths, the ladder ele-
ments are best moved into the desired position on
the ground and set up with 2 persons if necessary.
2. Disengage the ladder units at the latch hook [D] and
move them in the desired height position along the
guide on the pair of latch hinges [A-4] or the guide
bracket [A-5].
3. Then securely lock the ladder elements again at the
ladder rungs with the help of the locking hooks [D].
After using the combination
ladder, securely re-lock the
ladder elements using the
locking hook [D] at the
lowest ladder rung.
Note for multi-purpose with step adjustment:
Only the stepladder [A] can be used with the step ad-
justment. Before setting up, separate the single ladder
[G] from the stepladder.
1. Lift spreader brace slightly (loosen locking bar) and
push both ladder units together slightly in order to
be able to slide the front ladder unit [A-2] smoothly
in the guide of the pair of latch hinges [A-4]. Maxi-
mum adjustment height: 2 rungs, which corresponds
to approx. 54 cm.
2. The ladder rung must then be securely positioned in
the seat of the latch hinges [A-4], and the spreader
brace [F] must be securely engaged.
