Control
T o automati cly s c an and pro g ram the remote c ontro l :
T urn OFF the devi c e y ou wish to pro g ram . ( T V, VCR,
DVD or c ab l e box equipment).
Choose the devi c e y ou wish to pro g ram.
W hi l e pressin g and ho l din g the EN T ER ke y , press
the INPU T ke y and the devi c e LED wi ll turn ON. T he
LED wi ll remain on for about 3 se c onds and it wi ll
b l ink, indi c atin g that the remote c ontro l is read y for
pro g rammin g , then re l ease both ke y s.
Press and re l ease the Mute ke y to enter automati c
s c an mode. And the remote wi ll automati c a lly send
c odes to the devi c e ever y 2 se c onds.
W hen the devi c e turns ON, press ENTER ke y to
pro g ram the remote c ontro l with the new c ode,
savin g it to memor y .
Press the POWER ke y , if the devi c e responds, no
further pro g rammin g is required. If the devi c e does
not respond repeat steps 1 throu g h 5.
After sear c hin g the entire data-base, this mode wi ll
automati c a lly exit and the LED wi ll b l ink 3 times. T he
wi ll not be saved to memor y .
In automati c s c an mode, press an y ke y other than the
ENTER ke y to exit without pro g rammin g .
Display m ode
Choose the devi c e y ou wish to pro g ram.
T o enter disp l a y mode, whi l e pressin g and ho l din g
the ENTER ke y , press the INP U T ke y and the devi c e
LED wi ll turn ON. It wi ll remain on for about 3
se c onds and then the LED wi ll b l ink, indi c atin g tha
the remote c ontro l is read y for pro g rammin g , then
re l ease both ke y s.
Press 9 then 8 then 0 to enter disp l a y mode.
Press the 1 ke y to g et the rst di g it of the c urrent
c ode. For examp l e, if the rst di g it of c ode is 1 , the l ed
wi ll b l ink on c e and remain OFF. Di g it “0” in the c ode
wi ll not be disp l a y ed.
Press the 2 ke y to g et the se c ond di g it of the c urren
c ode. For examp l e, if the se c ond di g it of the c ode is 3,
then the LED wi ll b l ink three times.
Press the 3 ke y to g et the third di g it of the c urrent
c ode.
On ly di g it 1 , 2, 3 are va l id in this mode. And the
sequen c e is not xed.
T he remote c ontro l wi ll not send out data in this mode if
y ou press an y ke y other than the 1 , 2 or 3 ke y .

T he remote c ontro l provides pass-throu g h features that
a ll ow users to c ontro l the T V vo l ume and DVD or VCR
operation whi l e the remote c ontro l is in another devi c e
mode.

to c ontro l the vo l ume and mute fun c tion of y our T V
whi l e the remote c ontro l is in another devi c e mode. T he
feature is app l i c ab l e for a ll devi c es and brands that do
not use the vo l ume c ontro l buttons for other purposes.
Playback Control Key Pass-Thro u gh <
T he DVD or VCR p l a y ba c k c ontro l ke y pass throu g h
feature l ets y ou c ontro l the PLAY, S T OP, PAUSE, RE W IND,
FF and RECORD fun c tions of y our DVD or VCR whi l e the
remote c ontro l operates in other modes. T he feature is
app l i c ab l e for a ll devi c es and brands that do not use the
p l a y ba c k c ontro l ke y s for other purposes.
