Connect ductwork.
1. Extend the house duct down to connect to the exhaust adaptor.
2. Seal exhaust duct joints using furnace duct tape for high temperature
applications.

METHOD B - OUTSIDE BACK EXHAUST (HORIZONTAL DUCT)
IMPORTANT:
•
Make sure the screws for the blower motor and blower plate are securely
tightened when they are reinstalled. This will help to prevent excessive vibration.
•
Make sure the motor wiring has been properly routed and secured, and that the
wires are not pinched.
Prepare the rear wall for outside back exhaust.
1. Create an opening in the rear wall for outside exhaust.
•
Read the instructions on the Mounting Plate/Rear Wall template.
•
Tape the Mounting Plate/Template to the rear wall, aligning it with the holes
previously drilled for holes A and B in the wall plate.
•
Cut the opening, following the instructions of the Rear Wall template.

marked locations.
Where there is
a stud, drill a 3/1
6" hole for wood
screws. For holes
that do not line
up with a stud, dril
l 5/8" holes for
toggle bolts.
