8.2.6 Minute tone 
This option helps you efficiently control your call duration. If you enable it, system will remind you of the 
duration of the call at 50s of every minute. 
 
8.2.7 Connect tone 
If you have this option selected, it will utter sound at the time the connection between the two callers is set 
up. 
 

8.3 Security settings 

 
Security settings can protect your device from being used by any authorized person.

 

 

8.3.1 Phone lock    
Lock now 
Select this item to lock your device right now. After the lock you are not allowed to use it any more till you 
enter correct password.   
On entering this, a pop-up appears asking you for the password. 
Enter password with phone password, then press LSK to confirm. 
It will warn the user if an incorrect password is entered. 
The default password is 0000. 
 
Power on lock    
Lock the phone right after powering on the device. 

 

8.3.2 PIN   
PIN is password of SIM. You can set a PIN to prevent others’ using your SIM card without your permission. 
You can check, and change PIN or change PIN2.   
 
Checking PIN 
If you enable this, next time you power on the device it will requires the PIN of SIM. 
Your device can be normally started only if you enter the correct password. 
If you continuously enter wrong passwords for three times, your SIM card will be locked. 
About PIN and How to unlock, please refer to relative instructions in “General Operations” for details. 
Changing PIN 
If you continuously input wrong PIN for three times, the SIM card will lock itself and prompt that SIM card has 
been locked. 
You need a PUK to unlock the locked PIN. PUK is always a companion password provided with SIM card. 
However, if it isn’t provided. You have to get it from the ISP. If you continuously input wrong PUK for ten 
times, the SIM card will be permanently locked. 
Changing PIN2 
You can set the PIN2 as a 4-8 digits password. You need a PUK to unlock the locked PIN2. PUK2 is always 
a companion password provided with SIM card. However, if it isn’t provided. You have to get it from the ISP. 
If you continuously input wrong PUK2 for ten times, you will be rejected to use the menu items which need a
