ETS commissioning
Loading the physical and application software
address:
• before you install the product, scan the QR code
affixed to it to include the security key in the ETS
project,
• connect the product in the space provided in the
new generation smart meter housing,
• press the
cfg
button to put the product in
configuration,
• load the physical address in the device,
• download the application software to the device,
• note the physical address on the device label,
• stick the label on the device.
The TR131B media coupler cannot be used.
Please use a media coupler that
supports long frames.
KNX / Quicklink startup
Creating a link
The RF link is used to pair the RF Customer Tele-
Information (TIC) emitter with a receiver (e.g. a TIC
XEVA200 card) and is created as follows:
1.
Start the configuration procedure by briefly
pressing the
cfg
button on the RF Customer
Tele-Information (TIC) transceiver:
• the emitter’s
cfg
LED glows red,
• the receiver’s
cfg
LED glows red.
2.
Choose which function to pair on the receiver by
successively pressing briefly on the
fct
key until
the
fct
LED indicates that the Energy function
has been chosen (the TIC XEVA200 card offers
two functions:
fct
LED blinking red to select the
Energy function,
fct
LED off to select deletion of
link, see “Deleting a link”).
The TIC link status LED should glow green. If
it does not, please refer to the Meaning of the
TIC link status LED
2
and Meaning of the cfg
configuration LED
3
chapters.

cfg
For more information about the functions available,
please refer to the corresponding receiver manual.
3.
Validate the chosen function on the receiver by
pressing the
fct
key for more than 2 s until the
cfg
LED glows red and starts to blink.
• The function identified by the
fct
LED is now
validated on the receiver.
The following LEDs will then go out:
• the
cfg
LED on the emitter,
• the
cfg
LED on the receiver.
Deleting a link
Proceed as per the
Creating a link
chapter above,
but when you get to step 2, choose the Delete
function (
fct
LED off).
Replacing a TRPS120
When replacing the RF transceiver customer tele-
information (TIC), factory settings must be restored
to all the receivers still linked to the previous one.
In the case of a TIC XEVA200 card, press and hold
the
cfg
button (>10s) until the
cfg
LED starts to
blink, then release it. The indicator will go off when
factory settings have been fully restored.
After this, the TIC XEVA200 cards are ready for new
links.
Notes
To save on radio resources, the RF transceiver
customer tele-information (TIC) emits data upon
change and/or cyclically. For disconnected
receivers, please note that this can take up to
10 minutes before the normal operating state is
restored.
Possible combinations between one or more
TRPS120 transceivers and one or more TIC
XEVA200 cards:
1.
A TIC XEVA200 card accepts only one pairing
with a TRPS120 transceiver,
2.
A TRPS120 transceiver can be paired with
several TIC XEVA200 cards.
Restoring factory settings
Press and hold the
cfg
button (> 10 s) until the
cfg
LED starts to blink, then release it. The
cfg
LED will
go out when the factory settings have been fully
restored. All product settings will be deleted.
Closing the new generation energy
meter
Clip the new generation energy meter cover
back into place and lock it shut.
