ELECTRICAL SAFETY NOTE
Hafro whirlpool products are manufactured in compliance with the 60335-2-105 standards. They are tested to ensure the safety of the user. This equipment
must be installed by qualified personnel in compliance with IEC standards and the national regulations applicable in the country of use. The installer must
also be authorised to issue a certificate of conformity for correct installation. Before installing the equipment, the installer must ask the user for the
declaration of conformity of the systems in the building as envisaged by the law. In the absence of this documentation, Hafro will not be held liable for the
systems or premises where the product is installed.

SAFETY ZONES
The installation must be performed by qualified or authorised personnel, with regards to both the electric and plumbing systems. Before connecting the
equipment, the installer must ensure that the electrical system complies with the IEC 64.8 standards, protected by a 0.03 A RCD, and that the earthing
system is efficient and compliant with the provisions above.
The products must be securely fitted and permanently connected to the mains and the earthing system. Connection to the mains must be made via an
omnipolar switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm, located outside the safety area as envisaged by the latest edition of the CEI 64-8/7 technical standard
(this must be installed in areas which cannot be reached by the user using the equipment), away from possible sprays or water delivery (see drawing).
The cable for connection to the electrical system must be protected by a corrugated tube that should not have intermediate joints or connections. The cable
must not have characteristics lower than H05VV-F 3x2.5mm. The components used for the connection must have the characteristics and IP protection
rating as envisaged by standard 64.8
for use in bathrooms and showers.
EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION
The equipment must be connected to the building's equipotential system via the dedicated terminal located on the frame of the plate duly indicated, as
required by standards 60335.2.60.
