Instructions for use
NOTES:
1.
On initial use it is recommended that the blanket be set on “3” for 2
hours
before sleeping on the bed a
nd preset “1” for continuous use.
2.
Preset on “3” will assist in drying out any moisture which has been
accumulated in the mattress.
3.
You may notice an odour when using the blanket for the first time, due to
the insulation material. This is harmless and will subside quickly
Cleaning & Maintenance
•
It is advisable to wash the electric blanket only if it becomes dirty or dusty. If
you wash it too often the product can wear out very quickly.
•
When cleaning, ALWAYS unplug the power cable. The power cable must
NEVER be in contact with water.
•
Before using the electric blanket again, make sure it is completely dry.
•
Before cleaning,
ensure the control is set to the “0” Position (OFF) and
remove the plug from the wall socket.
DO NOT ALLOW THE CONTROLLER TO
COME IN CONTAVT WITH ANY WET SOLUTION.
•
Lift the tab on the controller to the plastic connector on the blanket;
carefully pull the plug connector away from the blanket. The controller MUST
never be immersed in water.
Machine Washable
The electric blanket may be washed using the delicate cycle of a washing
machine (maximum temperature 30ºC).
Hand Wash
1.
Soak the electric blanket in water for 15 minutes. Use neutral soap in
warm water (maximum temperature: 30ºC).
2.
Carefully rinse the warmer with cold water, without wringing or
squeezing it.
3.
Hang the electric blanket to air dry naturally in a horizontal position until
completely dry.
