INFORMATION REGARDING RADIO OPERATION
Interference when listening to the radio can be caused by other electrical devices in
the near vicinity (e.g. television, PC screens, etc.) The radio should be kept away from
these devices that interfere.
SWITCHING OFF THE RADIO
Turn the VOLUME control to the 0FF position until a click is heard. If the radio is
operating with AC power, the main lead should then be removed.
TO LISTEN WITH EARPHONE
Connect the earphone to the 3.5mm earphone jack

. The speaker is deactivated
when an earphone is connected.
Adjust the volume of the earphone using the volume control knob.
MALFUNCTIONING
Pull out the mains connection plug and remove the batteries if a malfunction occurs.
Then reconnect the electrical supply using either the mains connection plug or the
batteries.
CLEANING
Clean the radio casing only using a slightly damp cloth. To remove persistent dirt, add
a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid to the damp cloth. When cleaning the device,
make sure that no moisture seeps into the radio!
WARNING:
If moisture enters the radio, it could cause electric shock and a fire.
WARNING
The radio contains no user-serviceable parts. The warranty is void if the casing of the
radio is opened! No liability will be taken and no guarantee will be made for damages
due to opening the case of the radio, resulting from repair attempts not made by
qualified experts and use of the radio for purposes other than intended!
