Operating Instructions
•
Make sure that the appliance is in the “ MIN ” position and then plug it into the mains.
•
Use flat based pots/pans to ensure full contact with the hot plate. The base diameter should be at least equal to the
cooking plate.
•
The hot plates can operate at different temperatures. Turn the knob clockwise to select the heating temperature
(from MIN to MAX ). Use the lowest temperatures ( MIN-3 ) for warming and simmering, and the highest temperatures
( 4~MAX ) for cooking and boiling.
•
The indicator light stays on while the hotplate is heating up. It goes out once the pre-set temperature has been
reached.
•
After us e, turn the knob counter clockwise to the point “ MIN ” and unplug the hot plate from the electrical socket.
•
The construction of the hot plate means that a certain amount of residual will remain after it has been switched off,
and this can be used for keeping food warm over short periods.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains and cold before attempting to clean it.
• All surfaces can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products that might damage the
hot plates. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
