Updating the firmware of the controller
As we are subject to a continuous improvement process, we have created the possibility for firm
-
ware updates. If you are affected by such an update, please proceed as follows:
• Switch to the „Bootloader“ tab and press „Scan“. The controller should then be listed in the list
of scanned devices with its ID. Here e.g. 0xF90BC5E2 at address 0xD1.
• To be on the safe side, check the current FW version (here 1.0.0.29) via the „Get“ button in the
Device Version area.

Use the button „Open“ to search for the new image file in the explorer and select it for the up

date (here BLDC_1.0.0.29.eff).
• Then click on „Boot“ -> LED turns yellow
•
Now click on „Flash“. The progress bar will run from left to right and then confirm with „Comple
-
te“ -> LED turns green. Now the device is updated. As a rule, the configurations are not over
-
written, but to be on the safe side, check this again as described in 6.4.
