•  Plug the HerSi-Can adapter into a free USB slot and install the driver if necessary (can be re-

quested via 

[email protected]

). If everything is installed correctly, a green LED lights up 

on the adapter.

•  Now open the GUI (can be requested via

 [email protected]

), you should see the follo-

wing user interface

• 

Now connect to the controller by first selecting the adapter you want to connect to in the upper 

right corner, here HCan (HerSi-Can) and click on the „Connect“ button. Now an additional oran-

ge LED should light up on the adapter. 

NOTE

The commissioning procedure documented below is shown using the HerSi-Can ad-

apter as an example. The procedure for the Peak Adapter is analogous.

GUI user interfaces

• 

To check the correct connection to the controller, press „Scan“. The GUI should now confirm 

the connection to the controller with „Found devices: 1“ and display the ID. The green dot next 

to „Founde devices“ should light up statically. 

•  The controller is now ready for operation

Note

We strongly recommend that you commission the drive 

unit on a separate test bench and check it for correct func-

tioning before installing it in the application.
