Symbols
The symbols used in the operating manual are explained below:
DANGER
Danger that will cause death or serious injury if it is not avoided.
WARNING
Danger that might cause death or serious injury if it is not avoided.
CAUTION
Danger that will result in minor or moderate injury if not avoided.
HINT
The cause that can result in material damage if it is not avoided.
INFORMATION
Important information without any relevance to safety.
2.2
Intended Use
The brushless DC motors mentioned here are intended as universally applicable actuators for
installation in end-devices and machines. The motor must be used in installed condition. The
commissioning may only start if all necessary protection requirements of the applicable
product standards and guidelines have been fulfilled.
The compliance with all limits and requirements that are explained in the operating manual are
also part of the intended use.
Improper use in the sense of predictable misuse is considered as

Operation beyond the prescribed technical specification
•
Impermissible modification of the motor
