Replacing of the skiving roller
Stop the machine: press the
stop push button
[22].
Loosen the three
knurled screws
[15] pull the
handle
[16] and remove the
cover
[17].
Remove
the
worn
skiving roller
[8].
Carefully fit the new roller into its seat.
Fit the cover with the ball bearing onto the new roller.
Push
the
cover
[17] precisely down, aligning the three screw holes.
Re-mount
the
knurled screws
[15] and tighten completely.

Replacing of the emery paper
Stop the machine: press the
stop push button
[22].
Remove
the
skiving roller
[8] according the procedure described above.
Detach the worn emery paper.
Clean the roller surface with an appropriate solvent (e.g. trichloroethylene).
Stick the new emery paper onto the roller and press tightly onto the surface to prevent the
formation of air bubbles.
Re-assemble
the
skiving roller
[8].

Replacing of the transmission belt
Stop the machine: press the
stop push button
[22].
Loosen the screws on the
safety cover
[19] and remove the cover.
Remove
the
worn
transmission belt
[26].
Slip the new
belt
[26] onto the
motor pulley
[28] and the
skiving roller pulley
[27].
Close
the
safety cover
[19] and tighten the screws.
NOTE
The belt length is correct and no tensioning is required nor any regulation needed.
