H3C Video Encoder/Decoder Frame

Chapter 2 Installing the Frame

Note:

z

The frame ships with cable guide for laying power cables and front cable guide for

laying network cables.

z

To install the front cable guide, refer to the installation of the cable guide for power

cables. If an H3C rack is used, it is not required to install the front cable guide.

z

After inserting the video encoder/decoder into the frame, use ground wire to connect

the ground terminals of the encoders/decoders with those of the frame. Two

encoders/decoders share one ground terminal on the frame. Finally, ground the

frame to the earth directly or through the rack.
