machine and Comware system.

The Comware system is shutting down.

The Comware system has been shut down. 

Running status LED 
(RUN) 

Flashing green (8 Hz) 

The device is in BootWare stage. 

Steady green 

The device is in Kernel stage, including Eshell 
stage. 

Flashing green (1 Hz) 

The Comware system is starting up or is operating 
correctly. 

Flashing yellow (1 Hz) 

The SDRAM has failed the self-test. 

Flashing yellow (8 Hz) 

The extended BootWare segment does not exist. 

Steady yellow 

The boot.bin file does not exist. 

Off 

No power input, or exceptions have occurred. 

System alarm LED 
(ALM) 

Steady red 

An alarm has occurred on the system because of 
excessive power, overtemperature, riser module 
fan tray failure, or abnormal voltage. 

Off 

No alarm has occurred on the system. 

IRF LED (reserved) 

Flashing green (1 Hz) 

The device is the global active device in IRF mode. 

Steady green 

The device is the standby device in IRF mode. 

Yellow 

The device is in IRF mode but the establishment of 
an IRF fabric has failed. 

Off 

The device is in standalone mode. 

Storage controller status 
LED (RAID) 

Steady green 

The storage controller is present. 

Off 

No storage controller is present. 

Management Ethernet 
copper port LED (MGMT) 

Steady green 

A 1000 Mbps link is present on the port. 

Flashing green (3 Hz) 

The port is sending or receiving data at 1000 Mbps. 

Steady yellow 

A 100 Mbps link is present on the port. 

Flashing yellow (3 Hz) 

The port is sending or receiving data at 100 Mbps. 

Off 

No link is present on the port.
