If the 75-ohm 4E1/8E1 splitter cable need be extended, you can connect the BNC connector
of the cable to the coaxial cable connector and connect the other end of the coaxial cable
connector to the peer device through a 75-ohm E1 trunk cable.

Examine the LINK LED after connection.

If the LED is on, the optical fiber link is present.

If the LED is off, a fault has occurred on the link and the signal is out of synchronization. In this
