Installing a power supply
CAUTION:
•
Before installing a power supply, make sure the power supply is powered off and the grounding
cable is correctly connected.
•
Do not install AC and DC power supplies on the same firewall.
The F1000-AI-25, F1000-AI-35, F1000-AI-55, F1000-AI-65, and F1000-AI-75 firewalls support
removable power supplies.
To install a power supply:
1.
Face the rear panel of the firewall.
2.
Remove the filler panel (if any) from the target power supply slot.
The firewall comes with the PWR1 slot empty and the PWR0 slot installed with a filler panel.

Orient the power supply with its handle at the left. Holding the handle of the module with one
hand and supporting the module bottom with the other, slide the power supply slowly into the
slot along the guide rails.
4.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to fasten the captive screws on the power supply to secure the power
supply in place.
