Configuring an aggregation group
This section explains how to configure an aggregation group.
Configuration guidelines
When you configure an aggregation group, follow these guidelines:
• You cannot assign a port to a Layer 2 aggregation group if any of the following features are
configured on the port:

802.1X. (See Security Configuration Guide .)

Association between AC and cross connection. (See MPLS Configuration Guide .)

AC-VSI association. (See MPLS Configuration Guide .)
• You cannot assign a port to a Layer 3 aggregation group if any of the following features are
configured on the port:

• If a port is used as a reflector port for port mirroring, do not assign it to an aggregation group. For
more information about reflector ports, see
Network Management and Monitoring Configuration
Guide .
• Deleting an aggregate interface also deletes its aggregation group and causes all member ports to
leave the aggregation group.
•
You must configure the same aggregation mode on the two ends of an aggregate link.
