Connecting the LSVM1DC300 power module

WARNING!

H3C DC power cords are required if the –48 VDC power source is used.

Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) marks on the two wires to avoid connection mistakes.

To connect the power cord:

1.

Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably grounded.

2.

Correctly orient the plug at one end of the cable with the power receptacle on the power module,

and insert the plug into the power receptacle. See callout 1 in

Figure 33

If you cannot insert the plug into the receptacle, re-orient the plug rather than use excessive force
to push it in.

3.

Use a cable tie to secure the DC power cord to the handle on the power module.

4.

Connect the two wires at the other end of the power cord to a –48 VDC power source.

Figure 33

Connecting a DC power cord to the power module

Connecting the PSR360-56A/PSR720-56A/PSR1110-56A

power module

The power cord connecting procedure is the same for the PSR360-56A, PSR720-56A, and PSR1110-56A

power modules. The following procedure uses the PSR720-56A power module as an example.
To connect the power cord:

1.

Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably grounded.

2.

As shown by callout 1 in

Figure 34

, plug the female connector end of the AC power cord into the

AC-input receptacle on the power module.

3.

As shown by callouts 2 and 3 in

Figure 34

, use a cable tie to secure the power cord to the handle

of the power module.

4.

Connect the other end of the AC power cord to the AC power source, and turn on the circuit
breaker.
