Booting the Switch
Checking Before Power-On
Before powering on the switch, verify that:
z
The power cable is properly connected.
z
The power supply voltage meets the requirement of the switch.
z
The console cable is properly connected; the terminal or PC used for configuration has been
started; and the configuration parameters have been set.
Powering On the Switch
The S5120-SI series have the same Boot ROM display style. This document uses the Boot ROM output
information on the S5120-28P-SI as an example:
