TFTP update procedure

Step1

Connect the switch to a PC where the desired file is located via the management Ethernet port. In this

case, you should know the IP address of the PC. At the same time, connect the switch to an external PC,

which can be the same one that contains the desired file, via the console port.

Step2

Run the TFTP Server program on the PC connected to the management Ethernet port, and specify the

path for updating the application files.

Step3

Run the terminal emulation program on the PC connected to the console port, and boot the switch to

access the BootWare menu.

Step4

Select

in the BootWare menu. Press

Enter

and the system will access the Ethernet submenu.
