4) Select and send the application file using HyperTerminal. The procedure for upgrading an
application file is the same as upgrading the BootWare. For details, refer to section “Upgrading the
BootWare through a serial connection” on page 5-9.
The size of an application program is typically over 10 MB. Even at the baud rate of 115,200 bps, the
upgrade takes about 30 minutes. Therefore, you are recommended to upgrade an application program
through an Ethernet interface.
Upgrading Applications Through the Management Ethernet Interface
Select

in the BootWare main menu to enter the Ethernet interface submenu. For details about this
submenu, refer to section “Ethernet interface submenu” on page 5-5.
Configuring Ethernet interface parameters
Before upgrading an application program through an Ethernet interface, you need to configure the
Ethernet interface of the LSQM1WCMB0 access controller module, as follows.
