| Safe mounting and assembly
Installation and assembly of electrical equipment may only be performed by a
qualified electrician. The applicable accident prevention regulations must be
observed and followed. The operation of the device is only permitted on a 230
V/50 Hz AC grid. Any installation on the 230 V network must be carried out by
a qualified electrician (VDE 0100).
To prevent electrocution when working on the device, disconnect the mains
voltage. A failure to follow the installation instructions may cause a fire or other
hazards and there is a danger of receiving an electric shock.
Connected devices may not exceed specified wattage. Connecting larger units
can destroy the device, cause a fire or an electrical incident. Make sure that
all external devices are connected with wires of a sufficient gauge, capable of
handling the load.
When mounted in industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electri-
cal systems and equipment of the professional associations must be followed.
In schools, training centers, clubs and workshops the operation of modules must
be monitored by responsible, trained personnel. This device is not intended to
be used by persons (including children) who have reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or little experience or knowledge unless they are supervised
by a person responsible and experienced with electrical installations.
The connection to the mains power supply must comply with national guidelines
and regulations for electrical devices.
If the device needs to be repaired only original spare parts may be used! The
use of other components may result in serious personal injury and damage.
Repairs may only be carried out by a specialist.
asseMBlIng the sensor
Mount the sensor at the point that is to be monitored. The mounting height of the
sensor defines the level at which the water detector becomes active. The sensor
cable can be extended with the two core cable up to 100 m. The sensor cable
should not be laid near or next to power lines.
IMportant:
Make sure that the cables are installed safely and do not
become a tripping hazard.
