DESCRIPTION
Convergys converts the input current from your 12V battery to a 230V output. It can be connected using:
• The car cigarette lighter ;
• Directly to the battery.
The CONVERGYS are fan-cooled
The maximum continuous power delivered is:
• CONVERGYS 300W = 300 Watts
SECURITY
• Before use, check that the product is compatible with your car cigarette lighter and if it delivers the necessary current
to the device you want to plug in (300 W for the CONVERGYS 300W)
• Do not expose the inverter to: moisture, direct sunlight, high temperatures, or dust.
• Do not dismantle or modify the product.
• To prevent electrical shock, never touch an electrical device with wet hands.
• This product is not suitable for children.
• If a malfunction occurs, stop using the inverter immediately and disconnect.
• Ensure adequate ventilation and do not obstruct the air inlets/outlets.
• Do not short-circuit the cables after the unit has come to a complete standstill, as this may damage the internal com-
ponents. The energy stored during use remains stored.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The inverters are equipped with a thermal protection, electrical protection against polarity reversal and a protection
against undervoltage and overvoltage.
The 300W model is equipped with a red warning light and a buzzer in case of malfunction (see TROUBLESHOOTING
page 8).
