START UP
1. Connect the charger to the battery using the proper accessory (clamps, lugs, etc...).
2. Plug the charger to the mains (single phase 220-240Vac 50-60Hz).
3. Unlock the charger by pressing button
for 3 seconds, select the mode by pressing button . again. Lock the mode by
pressing button again for 3 seconds. After roughly five seconds, the charge starts automatically.
4. 4. During the charge, the device indicates charging progress. When the indicator light flashes, the battery is ready to start
an engine. When indicator is steady, the battery is fully charged.
5. The charge can be interrupted at any time by unplugging the mains plug or pressing the button.
6. After the charge, disconnect the charger from the mains, then disconnect the clamps from the battery.

Lead-acid charging mode (58.4 V/3 A max) :
Mode for charging 48V Lead-acid batteries from 6 Ah to 60 Ah. 7 step automatic charge cycle.
Lithium Iron Phosphate Charging Mode (54 V/3 A max) :
Mode designed for 48V LiFePO4 batteries with 15 cells in series from 3 Ah to 60 Ah. 8 step automatic
maintenance charge cycle.
Lithium Iron Phosphate Charging Mode (57.6 V/3 A max) :

Mode designed for 48V LiFePO4 batteries with 16 cells in series from 3 Ah to 60 Ah. 8 step automatic

Standard Lithium Iron charging mode (54.6 V/3 A max) :
Mode designed for 48V Li-ion standard batteries with 13 cells in series from 3 Ah to 60 Ah. 8 step
automatic maintenance charge cycle.
Standard Lithium Iron charging mode (58.8 V/3 A max) :
Mode designed for 48V Li-ion standard batteries with 14 cells in series from 3 Ah to 60 Ah. 8 step auto -
matic maintenance charge cycle.
Some Lithium batteries have a buit-in UVP protection (Under Voltage Protection) which dis -
connect the battery in case of deep discharge. This protection prevents the charger from detec -
ting the battery. In order for the Gysflash to charge the battery, it is necessary to deactivate the
UVP protection. To do this, place the charger in one of the Lithium charging modes, disconnect
the charger from the mains, hold down button
and then reconnect the mains plug, once the
charger LED
