7. Setting the timer
The heater features a timer you can set to start the heater, or switch it off, automatically at
a certain, pre-set time. The timer has a small switch. If this switch is set to [ I ], the heater is
always on, set to [ ], the timer function is on.
NOTE: To set the current time on the timer, always turn the timer clockwise.
Do not turn it counterclockwise!
h) First of all, you must activate the timer: set the small switch to [ ].
i) Turn the timer clockwise until the arrow points on the current time. Then set the on/
off time by pushing the appropriate pins outward or inwards. Each of the 96 small
plastic pins on the timer corresponds to a 15 minute interval. Push outward the pins
corresponding to the time you want the heater to turn ON. Push inward the pins
corresponding to the time you want the heater to turn OFF.
NOTE: Make sure you have selected a heat and temperature setting (see
page 8) prior to setting the timer. This will ensure the heater cycles
on and off to maintain the set temperature.
