Basic Operation (Cont.)
Input Source
Make sure you have the external input device (such as a home theatre) properly connected.
Turn on the external device and press SOURCE on the remote control to select it. The input
source menu will appear.
1. Use the
/
button to move the highlighted bar to the desired source item.
2. Press OK button to confirm selection, information of the selected source name will
appear on the TV screen for a few seconds.
Information Display
Press DISPLAY button on the remote control, the related information about the current
source will appear on the screen automatically.
Picture Mode
Press P.MODE repeatedly on the remote control to select your desired picture mode from the
four available modes: Standard, Dynamic, Mild, Personal.
Sound Mode
Press S.MODE repeatedly on the remote control to select your desired sound mode from the
five available modes: Standard, Music, Movie, Sports, Personal.
Audio Language
For some programmers with audio language options, press LANGUAGE button on the remote
control will display the different audio language options for selection.
Sleep Timer
The sleep timer automatically switches off the power after a preset time has elapsed. There
are eight time periods available. Press SLEEP on the remote control repeatedly to select your
desired time period:
Off 10 min 20 min 30 min 60 min 90 min 120 min 180 min 240 min
Off.
Once you have finished setting the sleep timer, it will start automatically.
To check for how much longer the TV will remain powered on until it turns off by the sleep
timer, press the SLEEP button on the remote control and the remaining sleep timer will
appear on the screen for a few seconds.
