6.3 Lubrication of moving parts

Moving parts that require lubrication, such as quick-release fasteners, hinges,

spindles or swivel castor bearings, should be lubricated with commercially availa-

ble spray grease (e.g. HHS 2000).

WARNING

Danger of slipping

The lubricating oil must not get on treading surfaces, as there is a risk of injury from slip-

ping.

Excess lubricating oil must be removed immediately (e.g. with methylated spirits).

NOTE

Used lubricants and used cleaning agents/cloths must be disposed of in accordance with

the applicable environmental protection regulations.
