Failures – causes - remedies
Failure Cause Remedy
Engine not running
1. No power supply to machine.
2. Power supply interrupted by thermal sensor.
1. Check the power supply and the feeder cable;
contact an electrician to help you.
2. Wait for 5-10 min before starting the machine
again.
Engine keeps switching
off when being operated
1. Thermal sensor of the engine is defective.
2. Engine protection keeps switching off due to
overloading.
1. Ask an electrician to do the replacement.
2. Wait until the engine has cooled down and start
the machine again after 5-10 min.
Overloading causes
1. Feeder cable is too long or has too small
cross section.
2. Circular-saw blade is not sufficiently sharp.
3. Circular-saw blade teeth point to wrong
distribution.
1. Use an extension cable with cross section of 1.5
mm²
2. Sharpen the circular-saw blade.
3. Ask a professional to provide appropriate
distribution.
Charred workpiece
1. Circular-saw blade is blunt. 1. Sharpen or replace the circular-saw blade.
