• This torque spanner has been calibrated
and tested before leaving the factory
and has an accuracy of ±4%. THIS IS A
PRECISION MEASURING DEVICE.
• In the event of an overload or after
improper handling of the torque spanner,
it must be recalibrated by a specialist
company.
• Calibration of the torque spanner must
only be carried out by qualified personnel.
• The accessories supplied are matched
to this torque spanner. When using other
accessories, care must be taken to ensure
that they comply with the standards and
that they are of the correct shape and
size. The use of non-standard accessories
will invalidate the guarantee and warranty
claims.
• Do not use worn and defective
accessories.
• Store and use the torque spanner only at
a room temperature of 15° - 25°C in order
not to falsify the trigger values.
• Clean the torque spanner only by wiping
it with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in
cleaning agent!
Operation
1. Hold the torque spanner in your hand so
that you are looking at the Nm scale. Then
unlock the handle by turning the lock nut
anticlockwise.
2. Set the desired torque by turning the
handle. This example explains how to set a
torque of 120 Nm.
• Loosen the handle by turning the lock
nut anticlockwise. (picture 1)
• Turn the handle until its upper edge
reaches the 120 Nm mark on the centre line
and the 0 on the ring scale of the handle
meets the centre line of the Nm scale.

• Secure the handle by turning the lock
nut clockwise. The spanner is now set to 120
Nm and can be used. (picture 3)
3. The direction of rotation can be changed
(tighten or loosen) with the switch lever on
the head of the torque spanner.
4. To fit or loosen the sockets on the square
drive, press the release button on the head
of the torque spanner.
5. Place the torque spanner with matching
attachment on the nut or bolt and pull the
handle until the spanner clicks, then release
the pull on the spanner. The torque spanner
resets automatically for the next use.
DO NOT CONTINUE TO PULL THE HANDLE
ONCE THE KEY HAS BEEN RELEASED. BE
ESPECIALLY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING AT
LOW TORQUES WHERE THE KEY COMES
LOOSE AFTER IT HAS CLICKED.
