Flush Mount Roof Application
1) Place the mount in
desired location. Mark
the two teardrop shaped
holes and insert (2) nails.
Leave nails sticking up
approx. ¼”. Place the
mount on the nails and
slide into locking
position.
2) Install (8) ¼” x 2”
fasteners into the
holes as shown in the
picture. If going into
plywood, substrate
must be ½” CDX or
better. If going into
metal, substrate must
be 24 gauge or better.
If going into concrete,
use a fastener such as
a Tapcon ® screw, and
fully embed in concrete.
3) Slide the guardrail
receiver into the mount
as shown and install
guardrail post.
4) Align the post so it
sits vertically. Post rungs
must face in towards
work surface. Insert pins
as shown to lock post in
place. Applicable for
roof pitches of 3/12,
6/12, and 9/12 ONLY.
5) Once pins are
installed, your assembly
should appear as shown.
Install toeboards if
necessary.
1) Install (8) ¼” x 2”

post into receiver.
