Setting Noise Immunity Settings

The following screen shows the Noise Immunity settings typically used for occupancy detection and

vehicle counting.

5.2.4.15

Setting Power Line Filter

The Power Line Filter may be enabled when the interference magnetic field generated by current in

the mains/power line cannot be handled by other means. When enabled, the measurement time on

each channel is one cycle of the mains. This creates very long scan times and very course granularity

in vehicle speed and vehicle length measurement for high-speed vehicles.
Scan time when the Power Line Filter is disabled is equal to about 1 millisecond per channel plus the

channel measurement time.

5.2.4.16

Setting Oversampling

The setting of Oversampling = X1 allows the shortest scan times and highest accuracy for vehicle speed

and length measurements. It provides a signal-to-noise ratio that is good for low noise operating

conditions.
