UtilityScan DF Quick Start Guide

Collecting 3D Data 

1

 

Once finished setting up the 3D grid press 
Start Scan. This opens the 3D collection 
screen. 

2

 

Ensure that the cart is located so that the 
center of the antenna is over the starting 
corner and headed in the direction of the 
yellow arrow shown on the 3D collection 
screen.  

•

 

The center of the antenna corresponds 
with the raised marks on the sides of  
the cart. 

3

 

By default, the system starts in the  
X-direction when collecting data in both  
the X and Y Directions. 

4

 

With the cart in position press the Run button.

  

 

5

 

Move the cart forward to the other end of the grid. 
The bottom pane will change offering different 
options.  

6

 

When the cart travels the distance of the line specified during setup collection will automatically end.
