CONFIGURATION
OUT MiniModul can be configured to use custom specific parameters for CAN transmission.
Important notes for configuration:

It is necessary to operate with the correct CAN bit rate during configuration, especially
if third-party devices are connected to the CAN bus.
►
If there are problems during configuration, disconnect all third-party devices. If the problems
still exist, contact CSM support (see chapter 2.10 Updates & Contact).

All configuration is done via the CAN interface of OUT MiniModul.
A powerful configuration program for Windows,
xxScan CONFIG
, provides the means for easy con-
figuration of all CSM MiniModul devices – including the OUT MiniModul.
Refer to the
online help
of the
xxScan CONFIG
application for more informa-
tion.
7.2
OUT MiniModul CANopen
All configuration is done via the CANopen interface of OUT MiniModul and a CANopen master accord-
ing to CiA DS301, DS305 and DS404
