You can use your world receiver as an alarm clock. To use this

function you first have to set the alarm time. You will be woken with

a tone, or by the radio.

Setting the alarm time

• Press 

STANDBY

.

and

starts flashing on the display.

• Use the 

HOUR 

key to set the hours and the 

MINUTE

key to set

the minutes (in the same way as the clock time).

• Press 

OK

to store the setting

– If you do not press 

OK

, the display will return to the previous

time setting after 5 seconds.

Selecting the alarm mode

• Use the 

OFF

key to select the alarm mode. The

symbol for the selected alarm mode will appear

on the display:

= alarm by radio

= alarm by sound signal

= alarm off.

• Press 

OK

to store the setting

Alarm by radio

• If you select alarm with radio, tune to a station which will be

broadcasting at the alarm time and adjust the volume to the

required level.

– At the preselected alarm time, the radio will switch on and

switch off again automatically 60 minutes later.

Alarm by sound signal

• If you have selected the sound signal alarm, the tone will

sound for approximately one minute, becoming louder at
intervals. 

– This is followed by one minute’s silence, after which the

alarm tone will sound again. 

– If the alarm is not switched off, this process is repeated a

total of 30 times, after which the appliance will switch itself
off automatically.

Interrupting and repeating the alarm

• The alarm can be interrupted by pressing any button other than

the 

ON/OFF

button.

– After 3 minutes, the alarm comes on again.
• It is possible to interrupt the alarm function several times during

the switch-on period.

Switching the alarm off

• The alarm function can be switched off by pressing the 

ON/OFF

button. 

The alarm remains set to operate the next day.

Note: 

The alarm function always refers to the time shown in the main (left)

time display.
