Reception of Four Satellites
For the reception of four satellites it is necessary to
use a 22 kHz multi-switch and an additional Tone-
Burst switch (see figure).
The following table shows the menu settings re-
quired for this. The settings are explained in the
“Menu” chapter on page 13.
0 kHz:
LNB 1 or 3
22 kHz:
LNB 2 or 4
a: LNB 1 or 2
b: LNB 3 or 4
H/V depending on polarization
Example:
For the reception of a horizontally polarized signal
from the first satellite with the reception unit A
(bold in the figure), you require the following
setting:
Pol./Ant.

The Eutelsat satellite stations (13° east) have alrea-
dy been preprogrammed at the works to 22 kHz,
LO 2, the stations from all other satellites to 0 kHz,
LO 1 (see page 8).
The current transmission frequencies can be called
up via the teletext pages of various channels
(e.g. SAT 1: Teletext page 675 or 3SAT: Teletext
page 620) or they can be found in a satellite maga-
zine. These frequencies can be reprogrammed via
the menu guide.
