= playback start/stop
middle pedal = fast forward
left pedal
= rewind/short rewind
Starting and stopping using the 536 foot control
You can use the start pedal (right pedal) to either
lock or scan. Slide the switch on the bottom of the
machine to the desired position.
Lock position:
press pedal = start
release the pedal and press it again = stop.
Scan position:
press and hold pedal = start
release pedal = stop.
Use the “SPEED” rotary adjuster in the base of the
machine (St 3221) to change the playback speed.
The adjuster locks in its middle position (normal
speed).
Note:
When the tape end is reached, the machine
switches to stop and a signal sounds.
