Connecting the power cord

Plug the power cord supplied into the mains socket of the device.

Plug the power cord plug into an earthed safety socket.

Note:

Only connect the television using the power cord supplied to a suitable
earthed safety socket. 
Do not use an adapter plug or extension lead which does not meet the
applicable safety standards. Do not tamper with the power cord.
