Inserting a multimedia card or SD card

Switch off the camera by setting the rotary switch to »

Open the cover of the card slot.

Push in the memory card – with the contacts facing downwards – as far
as it will go.
Note:
Do not exert force when inserting the card. Apply only slight pressure.
The memory cards are resistant to dirt and moisture, but must only be in-
serted into the camera in a dry and clean condition.
Never remove memory cards during operation. This can damage the
memory card.
This type of damage will invalidate your warranty.
