RDS Search
RDS allows you to select memorized FM stations
according to programme type. More and more
stations are codifying their programme type
allowing efficient search with the SEARCH
function. The transmitted code is, however, the
responsibility of the radio station.
• By using the
SEARCH
button on the system or
on the remote control, you can call up the
programme types one after another.
• Press
S
or
T
to start scanning the
memorized stations in forward or backward
direction to find a station broadcasting the
required programme type. As soon as such a
station is found it is tuned to.
RDS Clock
Some RDS station may be transmitting a real time
clock at an interval of every minute.
• If the clock time has not been set manually by
you (e.g. ‘
0
:
00
’ is flashing); the current RDS
clock time will be stored automatically when
the RDS station transmits the real time clock.
• If you have already set the clock time, the set
time will not be replaced when the RDS clock
time is being received.
