Recording quality and time
You can set the quality of the recording. The table below shows the
relationship between quality and recording time:

The quality and recording time are interdependent. The better the
quality, the more memory the recording requires. This means that
the recording time is shorter in high quality mode than in standard
quality mode.
Note:
The recording quality (HQ, SP, SP+, LP, EP, SLP or SEP) is
selected automatically during playback.

You can obtain information about the remaining recording time in
the »EMPTY« field in the index screen.

Recording settings
These settings, such as adding chapter markers, selecting the input
source and the setting the recoding quality, can be made in the
