Full HD with Motion Compensation by Grundig
The new TV generation with visibly sharper pictures, and are jerk-free, at last. Grundig televisions with
Motion Compensation always provide excellent playback. Now we can introduce this picture
improving technology for full HD television images as well. The newest high-speed processing chip set
calculates additional intermediate pictures on scanned fi lms and integrates them into the appropriate
motion phases. This ensures a natural fl ow of movements and outstanding picture quality for fast-
moving scenes.

To create more fl owing movements, a device calculates an extra movement phase and inserts it between
every two. For LCD TV standard two pictures are constructed – with Motion Compensation one more
picture is calculated. This makes the TV picture visibly smoother and gains in detail for extra picture sharp -
ness avoiding the “jerks” that come with fast camera pans.

HD Evolution by Grundig has Full HD with Motion Compensation and stands for superbly sharp
pictures. The HD ready standard has around 1 million pixels, but Full HD gives you a picture
resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels – that is 2,073,600 pixels or 6,220,800 colour pixels – and
