Note:
•
Radio operation time depends on the number of the turns and time per turn.
For example, approximately 2 turns per second for 90 seconds will provide
about 40-60 minutes of radio operation.
•
If turning the crank at about 2 turns per second for about 90 seconds does not
power the radio for at least 15 minutes, replace the rechargeable battery pack.
REPLACING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK
AND BULB
Replacing the rechargeable battery pack with a Ni-MH,
3.6V, 600 mAh or equivalent.
1. Open the battery door.
2. Remove the battery pack. Then, unplug the battery
pack connector.
3. Insert the new battery pack plug into the connector;
then, place the battery pack into the slot.
If the bulb of the light burns out, replace with a new E-5 base, 2.4V 360mA
bulb (not supplied) as follows:
1. Remove the lens cap and reflector and unscrew the bulb gently.
2. Screw a new bulb (not supplied). Align the reflector with the lens cap
groove and replace the lens cap.
CHARGING YOUR MOBILE PHONE
Connect your mobile phone to the USB female jack on the back of your radio,
using the USB cable (supplied) with one of four tips for Samsung, Siemens,
Sony Ericsson or Nokia mobile phones with max. charging voltage and
current 5.7V/500mA.
CONNECTING TO THE EARPHONE
For private listening, insert the 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) plug into the stereo
earphone jack (mono ouput) on the bottom of the radio.
Note:
Connecting the earphone automatically disconnects the built-in speaker.
