Safety instructions for the basic maintenance of
Polydos systems
The basic maintenance tasks must be per-
formed by trained users.
Maintenance and repair tasks not descri-
bed in this manual must only be performed
by certified service persons.
Switch off the main switch on the control
cabinet before any work on the system
components and lines.
Do not open the control cabinet.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Observe the chemical manufacturer's safe-
ty data sheets (SDS) and safety instruc-
tions of the used chemicals.
Safety installations, which have been disa-
bled or removed during maintenance, must
be enabled or installed again immediately
after maintenance.
Wipe up spilled water, polymer or polymer
solution immediately to avoid slipping haz-
ard.

Liquids on electrical components can lead
to electric shock. Short circuits can cause
damage to the equipment.

Keep all electrical components dry.

Cover electrical components with a wa-
tertight foil during maintenance.
Cleaning the system surface

Do not use water or any other liquid to
clean electrical components or electri-
cal lines of the system.

Checking and cleaning the dry-material feeder

at least 15 minutes before touching the
heated dosing pipe.

start any work on the product. Make
sure that the power supply cannot be
switched on accidentally.
